Twelve Oscar® nominations for four films presented in October at the tenth Rome Film Fest

Four films presented at the tenth Rome Film Fest, held in October, earned twelve nominations for the 88^th Academy Awards, to be held on February 28^th.
Room by Lenny Abrahamson will compete for four Oscars®: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role (Brie Larson), Best Adapted Screenplay.
Six nominations for Carol by Todd Haynes who met the public of the Rome Film Fest at the preview screening: Best Actress  in a Leading Role (Cate Blanchett), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Rooney Mara), Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Original Score.
Racing Extinction by Louie Psihoyos was nominated for Best Original Song.
Mustang by Deniz Gamze Erguven, in Competition in the independent parallel sidebar Alice nella città, will compete for the category of Best Foreign Language Film.
