The opening concert of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia‘s Symphonic Season-Thursday, Oct. 12, with replays on the 13th and 14th-is a tribute to Rome with music by two composers who have lived in the Eternal City for many years: Respighi and Liszt. The concert will be entrusted to the baton of Iván Fischer, who will take the podium of the Academy Orchestra and Chorus (instructed by Andrea Secchi) to conduct Fountains and Pines of Rome, Respighi’s Feste Romane and Franz Liszt’s O Roma Nobilis and Dall’Alma Roma.

The three inaugural evenings are in collaboration with the Rome Film Fest.
