Artists and their rights take the stage

The Copyright Directive introduces important novelties for actors. For the first time, it allows stage performers the right to fair remuneration when their performances on television or online are disseminated. It recognizes the dubbing director as an artist and grants actors the right to further remuneration proportional to box-office proceeds and the proceeds from the use of their work on online platforms or any other kind of distribution. The conference organized by NUOVO IMAIE will look closely at the above issues.
