The National Tourism Agency, Official Sponsor of the Rome Film Fest, awards Cyrano by Joe Wright, the film presented in the Official Selection of the sixteenth edition of the Festival. The title was selected from a shortlist of feature films which – in addition to representing Italy’s scenic beauty, cultural richness and lifestyle – were achieved thanks to the support of international productions and co-productions.

The award was assigned today, Friday 22 October, on the occasion of Cyrano’s replica at the Sala Petrassi of the Auditorium Parco della Musica: the President of the Foundation Cinema for Rome, Laura Delli Colli with Sandro Pappalardo, director of ENIT, Cristina Priarone, General Manager Roma Lazio Film Commission and President of IFC Italian Film Commissions, presented the award to Roberto Proia, Executive Director of Theatrical and Productions from Eagle Pictures, who will distribute the film in Italian cinemas.

The support given to the event by the National Tourism Agency rests on the vision of the great potential that film and television products can have in the area and on its promotion abroad.
