Festival 2013, over ten thousand tickets purchased in the first three days of advance sales

The Rome Film Festival (November 8-17, 2013) is an extraordinary box-office success: during the first three days of advance sales, over ten thousand tickets were sold. The top sellers were the films in Competition and Out of Competition. The public also chose the Italian films, demonstrating particular interest in the films of the CinemaXXI Competition and in the meetings with directors and actors.

Despite the excellent volume of sales online, on the first day of advance sales hundreds of people crowded the ticket offices of the Auditorium Parco della Musica, venue of the Festival. Distribution of the queuing system numbers began at 8 am, and the ticket offices opened at 11 am, yet the first fans began gathering at the gates of the Auditorium as early as four o’clock in the morning.

Advance sales will continue through November 7th at the Central Ticket Offices of the Auditorium Parco della Musica (from 11 am to 8 pm), the authorized LIS ticket offices (the list is available on the website www.listicket.it), and online at the websites romacinemafest.org and www.listicket.it. Tickets may also be purchase from the LIS ticket call-center (there is a fee for the service): in Italy, the telephone number is 892 982, for foreign callers +39 – 2 -60060900 (open: Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm, and from 2 pm to 6 pm).
