The Children’s Biennale’s film program about to get under way at the Auditorium Parco della Musica

As part of the Biennale dei Ragazzi (the Children’s Biennale), which is held during the Christmas season (December 6 to January 6) at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Alicenella Città and the Fondazione Cinema per Roma have arranged a program of screenings of children’s films for the whole family and animation fans as well (December 18-20). The Sala Petrassi will be hosting a selection of the best-known films by past masters of the animated film, such as Hayao Miyazaki, with the film The Wind Rises, and Isao Takahata, with The Tale of Princess Kaguya, as well as sneak previews of hotly awaited Christmas movies like Paddington by Paul King and hit films from the Rome Film Festival this year such as The Young and Prodigious Spivet 3D by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. To conclude, a screening of the live musical that has swept theaters around the world will be devoted to Stephen Daldry and his Billy Elliot the Musical Live.

In addition to the screenings open to the public (admission: €7), there will also be a number of screenings for school groups.
