The show “Il cinema va di moda” (Cinema goes fashion), produced by the RomeFilmFest in collaboration with Alta Roma, is created by Stefano Dominella under the artistic guidance of Gabriella Pescucci, the Academy award-winning for costume designer for The Age of Innocence, and the direction of Piero Maccarinelli; set and visual design by Roberto Malfatto.
RomeFilmFest has called a casting for the upcoming September 15th and 16th in order to pick up 200 aspiring actors who will play the characters from movies by Fellini, Antonioni, Visconti, Rossellini, Pasolini and Gabriele Muccino’s The Last Kiss. From historic clothes (The Profession of Arms, Livia) to contemporary ones, revisited for the occasion (The Conformist, The Family, The Night) by great masters, stylists and costume artisans, such as Fendi or Gattinoni. Their creations will be inspired by Roberto  Benigni’s Pinocchio. Armando Trovajoli will provide the soundtrack, with music from the quoted movies and compositions like the everlasting “Roma nun fà la stupida stasera”.
