#RomaFF13 | Fifteen Golden Globes Nominations for seven films presented at the Rome Film Fest

Golden Globe 2019 2)

Seven films shown during the thirteenth edition of the Rome Film Fest (18 – 28 October, 2018) received fifteen 2019 Golden Globes nominations: five nominations for Peter Farrelly’s Green Book, three for Barry Jenkins’ If Beale Street Could Talk, two for A Private War by Matthew Heineman and Boy Erased by Joel Edgerton, one for The Old Man & the Gun by David Lowery, one for Stan & Ollie by Jon S. Baird and one for Beautiful Boy by Felix Van Groeningen. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s TV and film awards will be assigned on January 6th, 2019.

“I am happy and proud of this umpteenth proof, which confirms the high quality of the films presented by the Rome Film Fest – said artistic director Antonio Monda – but I am even happier to see that the nominations are all in the major categories and that after opening the Rome Film Fest, 11th edition, with the Oscar® winner Moonlight, Barry Jenkins’ amazing new work is among the most nominated movies this year”.
