The Business Street has been part of the Rome Film Festival since its first edition in 2006, and has continuously lived up to its reputation as an ideal hub for film sales and acquisition activities on an international level. Its flexible and informal structure is free of stands, and offers its participants exclusive buyers lounges, markets screenings and a video library featuring all the titles presented at the Festival and the Market. Such a framework fosters connections and networking opportunities for its participants, and ensures that their business stay in Rome runs smoothly and effectively.
New Cinema Network (NCN) is the Rome Film Festival’s co-production market, the place where filmmakers – a sampling of the most intriguing new talent on the film scene today – will find the ideal platform for presenting their new projects and getting in touch with the European film industry’s major players. The 24 projects showcased by NCN this year were assessed and selected by a committee made up of Marco Müller, Marie-Pierre Duhamel and Sandra Hebron, along with NCN staff.
